My Steam suddenly turned into French. Should I be afraid?

I've been to France once like 2 years ago, but never used my laptop there. I did go to a French middle school, but I learned Spanish there instead. Also, I do not know anybody who speaks fluent French. There is no person in my house who knows how to turn a computer on except for me (unless my grandmother was lying to me my entire life).

Should I take security measures or what?
