Author Topic: Looking for a fun stealth/openworld game  (Read 3301 times)

So I'm looking for an good stealth or open world game, (not gta) what would be nothing too brutal (sleeping dogs).

I have been looking for something like Dishonored, Far cry 3...

So uhm, could you guys suggest some pretty good stealth / open world games you know, probably ones you actually have played, not by reccomendations, and something that last's long enough, etc. not a week long game or something similiar.

NOTE: Please check out my steam profile for games before you suggest anything I might have.

Watch Dogs is coming out, Far Cry 3 is great for stealth, GTA series is fantastic, i think for what you want is Watch Dogs is going to be great. Just Cause 2 has the best open world, but it's up to you.

You've got Just Cause 2. Not too stealthy, but it surpasses Far Cry 3 in playability.

stealth bastard deluxe
skyrim
fallout 3/new vegas
The Ship(stealth?)
dont starve(open world)
dark messiah might and magic(1/2 stealth)

Yeah, I'm waiting for watch dogs as cat for its milk, but I need a game now, I'm tired of having 9 losses in a row at League of Legends >:I

I wouldn't say that If I was you, I played the stuff out of Just Cause 2 last year on my old stuffty laptop with 20 fps, I guess I could try it with brand new frames.

Yeah, I do agree, I have grand theft auto vice city and 3, but I didn't want people to suggest em because I have tried san andreas and IV isn't "suitable" because of the bad moral the game has, if you would say so...

Wait what.
NVM just get watchdogs. You hack people in Chicago and use stealth and hacking to your advantage, for instance when you're being arrested you can pull out your phone and select a Blackout, which will make the power go out everywhere so you have time to kill the cop who is confused.

I would recommend assassin's creed
It is open world, you can choose to avoid missions. The stealth and assassination mechanics are clearly well defined...
If you only buy one, get assassin's creed 2

I have it already...

deus ex HR isn't super open world but the stealth is A+

dark messiah might and magic(1/2 stealth)
Most of the game I just remember running into a fight and kicking everything on sight.
Maybe that's why I died so often...

The games that inspired Dishonored are in pretty much the exact same style, Thief and Deus Ex (in fact, there were a few references to Thief in Dishonored).
