Author Topic: Stupid rules your school has, enforced or not  (Read 8714 times)

What's some stupid rules your school has? Doesn't matter if they are enforced or not, but, Y'know.
Personally I am upset with a few our school has this year in particular, I'm not no casanova, but I carry a comb around with me almost all day, well, apparently it's no longer allowed in school, you can't wear your class ring, for whatever reason, girls can't wear hair pins or ponytail thingies anymore, they think they are some kind of weapon I guess, and you can no longer wear suits or anything nice, Lol.
So, what's some of your school rules that are, well, pretty ridiculous?

do you go to school in detroit or something

No headsets.
I mean, I didn't even have a ipod

do you go to school in detroit or something
Surprisingly no, I go to school in Northwestern Missouri, which I find funny because stuff never happens here, lol.

I call my friends names (richardhole, assforgeter, bitchtits, etc) and they call me names too, and we've gotten multiple detentions despite explaining it was all a joke and not real bullying. CT has some of the strictest anti-bullying laws in the country, so schools take it super serious here

my old school didnt allow electronic devices at all, but my new school (i went from middle to high school) provides free wifi to everyone in the school to use during passing periods lol

Two years ago my school stopped selling bananas in the cafeteria for a bit because of an incident that happened and people thought bananas were banned.

you should of started buying bananas and sell them triple the price at school

no ones allowed to carry around cinch bags

People started bringing in bananas from home and one teacher flipped stuff because he thought they were trying to disrespect the school because of what happened an started confiscating them.
Everyone got a phone call from an AP assuring us that fruit wasn't being discriminated against and whatnot.

I know this sounds ridiculous, lemme find a news story of what happened.

30 centimetre rule between boys and girl, aka the rule that nobody has ever cared about.

All of the general clothing, hair, accessory rules. As in the whole "you must all look the same with no individuality or be punished"
Just like what happened with the Jews.

in my school you are not allowed to wear a hoodie

girls are required to wear tops with sleeves

shorts (long or short) are not allowed, only full pants

oh and no phones whatsoever

and bags/coats are to be kept in lockers at all times right when you get in

*Snicker* Me too but since it was the only way of self expression at my school (because we have uniforms) no one EVER listened to the principle, even when he came on the intercom and specifically said not to. I personally wear a Portal 2 hoodie.

Edit: ALSO the sharp thing= weapons rule doesn't seem to be reinforced very well, hell I wear a Ninja Star necklace (from Kingdom Hearts the one that Roxas wears) and a ring that has the kingdom crown on it.
