I can play InFamous fine on my PS3. The downloaded version, not disc version.

make sure the vents aren't blocked. try to keep it cool

same thing happens to me on black ops 2, i got my ps3 at launch

How dirty are your PS3s? I've had my PS3 since launch, it's never had an overheating/crashing issue.

its pretty damn clean

ive come to a conclusion that it crashes on exclusive games only. Infamous, uncharted 2 & 3, the last of us, all crashing. Everything that works isn't an exclusive
