Have you even tried? I think in your case you never thought you'd have much of a chance with girls, maybe because of your looks or something else. Anyway, to protect yourself from that painful truth you convinced yourself you didn't even like girls anyway. Then I guess you distracted yourself further with the whole being attracted to anthropomorphic animals perversion.
