I'm in a pickle. (Buy Call of duty ghosts or be bored and play alone)

Xbox 360 games are getting really loving boring, and I think my last hope is to get Call of Duty Ghosts. The trailer didnt do stuff but look flashy and show off its features, and I have no idea if it's going to give the same empty, frustrating feeling of no control as the other games. The only thing is all of my friends play the newest call of duty games when they come out, and keep playing until the next one comes out, and I'm always left out and bored. I actually have a lot of fun playing with my friends sometimes, and it can bring the best out of games like call of duty.

I don't exactly have the money, but I do have a bunch of old games. The only problem is I have know idea where I would sell them because I sure as hell wont sell them to gamestop.

So what do I do?

poor console gamers. :( i just replayed fallout 3 on the xbox again, all dlc with a (basically) 100% run of loot and shoot, and i found myself already knowing what i would do before it did it. needs more moddability.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection if you haven't already. Some of the best console games you'll ever play (And Peace Walker has co-op if you want to try to convince your friends to buy it. Just be sure to have them at least play MGS 3 beforehand, 2 might put them off if they haven't played MGS1)

Get Battlefield 4. It has squads, so you and your friends can help each other, and get rewarded for it, and it has vehicles, jets, tanks, environmental destruction, hell you can collapse a loving skyscraper. (inb4electronicartsismakingfun of9/11)

Generally this is true for any multiplayer game.
You will always enjoy a multiplayer game more with friends, regardless of quality.

Of course, ideally both you and your friends would decide to play a high quality multiplayer game together, but oh well.

battlefield 3 with friends is more fun than call of duty with friends, I have determined

If that's the case, and if you have nothing else to play, listen to him. You might even enjoy the game he considers getting.

Serious Sam for it's amazing co-op and SP (mostly co-op). I say you get SSHD: TFE and SSHD: TSE, because when you have both, you'll be able to play TFE maps on TSE. You won't even have to install TFE, and TSE has workshop and some great mods. If you're left with some extra cash, get SS3 as well.

If you want the true co-op experience, play it with your friends. There are some major starfishs who play online with the demo. Mostly Italians and Russians.
