It is debatable. I know the majority of Americans believe that Israel is America's #1 Middle Eastern ally, and #1 ally overall, it is technically true.

I would like to say the UK is our greatest ally. Israel stole land from Palestine anyway.

Let see we got into the first world war because we gave weapons to the allies, we got into korea because NATO wanted to fight the spread of communism, we went into Vietnam and lost many lives in a war that was for country that didn't give if they got taken over by communists or not, we gave weapons to the mujahedeen and trained them into what become known as the Taliban and Al Queda which bombed us just because we crushed Iraq for taking oil from Kuwait and our involvement in Somali.

It's okay if we are just trading with other nations, but going around the world to die fighting someone elses problem is bullstuff.

Obama is playing it smart, he is not doing anything which would cause the Egyptians to hold a grudge against us - he hasn't cut aide, or anything. We're just motivating them to stop. I don't think that we should arm anyone like we did a few months back in Libya, we also trained rebels to fight (we were doing this without anyone's approval). When a country is in civil unrest, it's usually wiser to stay out.

I would avoid Fox News for any topics regarding the Middle East.

I saw this coming. I don't trust Fox well either, but on many things they are correct on and cover stories more than other news sources.

UK started this whole Israel stuff. The only thing they did was pass on the trouble that came with it to us, just like most of Europe after World War 2.
