"Armageddon" Apocalyptic Roleplay ( Looking for people )

STORY We haven't gotten the story right just yet, but this is what we have so far.

The story begins when a meteor struck New England in September 1st, 2025. The meteor seemed to have some sort of, alien bacteria. Local intelligence "played" with the alien bacteria, and boy did it go wrong. The bacteria seemed to create a huge appetite with local citizens. For some reason the bodies started, decomposing. America was involved when citizens in Minnesota started catching the same appetite. The whole world had little bits of people with bacteria all over. The media and news reported all these theories and cure status. later on in January 25th, 2026 the cure was found, but not fully. It was a temporary cure, which was eating, live insects. The cure did not fully stop it, but it decreased appetite for a while. Later on, some people went crazy. There was cases of humans eating....their own kind. That's when people got worried and created containment areas. That didn't work however. The infected started breaching houses and eating neighbors and innocent people. Some even resulted in even eating pet animals. They would plead for them to eat people. They were begging for help, but you wouldn't let them in, now would you? You might be infected. No cure was ever found unfortunately. Now were in October 24th, 2027. No government runs, only the infected run and go for innocent people. Some have survived. The alien bacteria's status is unknown, but the whole world has this virus. There is no name for it, but let me call it "September's Disease."

More lands and secrets will be opened to the eyes of the remaining survivors with the will to carry on. Will you survive what new dangers await you in the apocalypse you used to call home?

REQUIREMENTS

1.: Only those above the age of 12 can submit an application.Do to complaints, the age restriction has bin removed. Players of all age's are allowed to apply . Please act mature.
2.: You must have some kind of rp experience (Have you roleplayed before? And I mean serious rp, not family roleplay's and that stuff)
3.: we would prefer you to have a Skype, this will make future connection and information easier.
4.: We are also looking for mod/addon creators to make rp prop items. Decal creators are also welcome.
  
APPLICATION AND RP RULES

Don't make your OC (original character) be an absolute God. Roleplayers hate it when they see an OC who's "God of the universe" and is totally "impenetrable." Making an absolute God won't help you make friends.

Don't use text talk. Y u no reply 2 me? No. Don't do that.

love: The Rules In A Nutshell. Don't roleplay-rape anyone (yeah, it exists, and happens), don't have love in comments, don't upload loveually provocative pictures unless both parties are dressed and/or no genitalia is exposed, don't put "I'm so horny" in your status, don't put words like "horny slut" or "submissive whore" in your display name, and if you're in a relationship, don't go off and do other people.

Layouts. Don't make the layouts of all layouts and express how yours is the bomb and everyone else's suck. That's not cool, nor is it going to help you get any storylines going.

Don't one-line (unless it's a preference with someone you're roleplaying with). Most people prefer at least a single paragraph, but some others allow one-lining. Just make sure you check the other person's preference (usually in the form of Roleplaying Rules in blogs) before trying to roleplay with others.

Don't steal anything, from anyone. This includes layout designs, storyline ideas, pictures, display names, biographies, roleplaying rules, etc. Don't be afraid to ask someone if you can copy something, 9 times out of 10 they'll say "Yes," and they'll expect credit so whatever you borrowed from someone, make sure you write "Credit to: [name]" under whatever you took.

Drama. Ah, drama. A Roleplayer's worst pet peeve. Roleplayers mainly hate all the real life drama other's bring in for attention. Don't be that person that sends a million bulletins/journals about your real life issues. If you have a problem in real life, talk with a friend in comments, messages, or on IM. Don't broadcast it to the world. However, you are allowed to broadcast in a journal that you'll limit your activity because of a death, school/work, problems in the family, etc. Just don't go overboard. Don't post a million statuses about how your parents are annoying. We all have annoying parents. Also, don't claim that you're going to retire, and then be all "oh wait, never mind." That pisses people off the most. If you're going to retire, think about it thoroughly and don't broadcast it prematurely just so you can watch everyone beg you to stay. Retiring is a personal decision.

God Mod, AKA Autoing. God-modding is basically being impenetrable and indestructible in every possible way. Don't do this, even if you are roleplaying a God of some sort. Remember: if your character gets killed in a particular storyline, you do not have to declare early retirement and kill off your character completely. Also, autoing is when you try to hit someone and they somehow "always hit without missing." This can also be called character controlling, controlling other characters, etc. It's insulting to the other roleplayer if you suddenly -throw a tomahawk at them with no chance of escaping- because it's pointless.

Be The Nice Guy/Girl. Accept constructive criticism, be nice, don't take things said in roleplay personally, make friends, chat up, etc. Be easy to get along with, and great roleplaying opportunities shall come your way.

The "Professional Roleplayer" does not exist. Don't call yourself "professional" because you "act like your character in real life" or you've been Roleplaying your character for so long that "you know everything about them." The only "professional" is the man/woman/group who created the universe you're roleplaying

Back-story:

Theodore Rothschild II - born to the British-Jewish banking family which consisted of philanthropists, doctors, lawyers, and stock brokers. Theodore was a single child raised by Beth Rothschild & the great Arthur Mayer Rothschild in Aston north of London in Great Britain. He was a social outcast, and always shy. Science and robotics were always his thing, and he looked up to Einstein as a tot and throughout his teenage youth. His dreams then came true in his later years being a cardiac surgeon. Theodore's mum and dad always thought of him as the "weird one" due to his social inabilities. He sure proved them wrong. Theodore became a very wealthy man sitting on hundreds of millions of pounds, well that changed when the apocalypse started.

This. Why would you base it on age? I've seen TONS of 8 year olds that are more mature than 13-15 year olds. If you can write a decent app, there's no reason to disqualify them for being under 12.

1: I have been in many RP's. My primary genre is sci-fi, and have secondary experience in industry and apocalypse themes. Exemplary experience in environment RP (weather, events, actions of non-character objects, etc), in text-based RP's. My most recent experience was Aeschylus's Space Station RP.

Name: Leroy Beyetzi.
Gender: Male.
Age 43.
Profession: Patrol/Security officer for TRF.
Characteristics: Caucasian, black hair, blue eyes, usually wears his bulletproof suit, both on the job and after it all went down. Takes risks, but calculates them first. Has a special suitcase/backpack hybrid for carrying things.

Backstory: Before the *** hit the fan, Leroy was a security patrol officer working for the enigmatic Tewovi Research Facility (TRF), located somewhere deep in Nevada, specializing in the R&D of exotic microbiology and other genetic researches. Leroy was working his way to becoming a dropship pilot for transporting people to and from the TRF, using his payroll as his source of self-funding for training. He also had a trade on the side, with factions within the facility between other security forces and maintenance workers, who traded drugs made from scraps siphoned from the materials used in manufacturing and raw materials for experiments.

After the apocalypse, TRF quickly shut down its operations, transporting many employees back home. Those who stayed transformed the facility into a stronghold and survival/survival training base. Due to limited supplies and the fact that the one farm in the grounds could only support half of the populace whthin, there came a schism; many left the base on foot, some stole dropships. Leroy and two others, both in the drug trade, stole a dropship with the intent of heading east, but crashlanded after a critical engine failure.

Leroy, the lone survivor, gathered up his supplies and continued on foot into the new world.

How am I being egotistical in anyway, just saying there's a lot of people younger than twelve can type a lot better than them real these days because most of them use text talk on the internet, not saying something like "Haha, I'm better than you because I can type!". Sorry if it sounded like that.

Have you ever roleplayed before?: Yes, what kind was it?: I actually havent played serious RPs because I cant find good servers for it, but I am sure I can RP well (some people have told me). Apart, I have played Army, family, labs,  hotels RPs.

Profession: He used to be a Russian soldier, an engineer.
Characteristics: He has his uniform that he used to use in the Army, and as weapons, he only has 1 weapon, the (depending of the add ons we use, but I would use AEK971)

Skills: He can be sneaky, letal, but sometimes, very loudly. He knows how to fix vehicles, to use guns and explosives.
Back-Story: Born in the Russia country, Borislav had the dream of being an engineer. When he growd up to the 26 years old he became Engineer. But it looked like he didnt like to repair home stuff.
He then wanted to join the army thinking he could repair things like Tanks, jeeps and such. He did join, because the soldiers needed an engineer for fix those things. He also learnt how to fix those things.

Later at the age of 31, a giant explosion was going to happen near the army base (Chernobyl  ), the army was alerted that the nuclear plant had an error and was going to explode, so the army left. Borislav could only took an AEK971 and he left with his parners. But exactly when they were leaving the explosion happened, the explosion couldnt reach the base, but the radioctive gas yes.
Borislav was in the jeep that were farther of the base (really far). The other parners died with the radioctive gas. Only Borislav and 3 more people were alive in the jeep.
At the age of 33, his 3 parners died by sickness, and Borislav was left, and he was alone, in the wasteland…

I think it's alright. We prefer u have Skype to share custom stuff for the RP but, it's fine. I'm one of the administrators and I will allow you. We will talk later about this because we need about 10-20 more peeps
