Ahhhh, just as I remember it. Seriously, according to that logic, it hasn't changed a bit haha.

I'm a 38ker So I'm still pretty new (October 2012)

You're correct, it really hasn't changed much. The old starfishs trained the new starfishs, then either moved out or mellowed out. It's funny too, cause people are pretty pompous and think they're above all the drama on the forum when they're the ones instigating half of it.

Haha that is a funny way to put it. Anyways I remember the actual game community wasn't so much like that. It was about 40% newbies, 25% little kids, 10% spammers/trolls, 5% stuck up members, 20% decent people to talk to and build with. I may be a little off with those numbers but thats pretty much how I remember it.

I honestly wouldn't say it's changed much. I'm from around 2010 (16k), and yea a few changes in server tastes have happened, but its generally the same.
Most RP servers really suck. However, there are exceptions, and Winter Bite is one of those.
Zapk's Rising Lava was fun, if it's still up. Mafia Madness is somewhat new and can be entertaining (though I prefer Trouble in Terrorist Town on gmod lol)

I've joined the forums a little later than your thread about the Flash Drive, but I've started playing Blockland sometime in April of 2010. I think the in-game community is still generally full of newbies, but I've made a few friends in-game (when I do play it).

10% newbies, 60% kids, 10% spammers/trolls, 20% decent (depending on who you are the 10% can combine with the 20%)

I bought this in 2008 and the biggest change I really see is people don't build anymore. It's really sad

but v21 should've encouraged people not to be lazy! you know, like everyone said!

Well if anything, it proves that laziness overcomes innovation.

We both bought it around the same time haha. Im sure some people still build though. Right?

What about all the servers on the Blockland site? There has to be more decent people with those kinds of servers. I mean most of them look pretty cool.

Of course, though their skills may vary, you can definitely see some quality stuff in the DOF Screenshots topic

Like Bones4's titanic build that's been taking years and years to finish

Oh yeah, in your absence, the forums got a new feature to stop page stretching images, when posting images wider than 1000 pixels, it'll resize the image's width to 1000 automatically, so that's pretty dandy
