"I have a large family, yes.  They've probably hidden themselves in their safehouse when London was attacked."

"Oui, that is most likely what my aunt and uncle did as well. I hope they are well."

"I'm sorry, what's happening? I spaced out again." I say, finally coming to my senses.
I really have to pay more attention to things.

"Haven't heard from my family. They're probably fine though...."

"Get your ass off the hovercraft, Nappy!"

"Oh damn." I mutter before rushing off of the hovercraft.

Zoë gets off the hovercraft, the helmet of her AG-90 Mobility Armor at her side. The SG-58 she was issued was clipped to her back. She trotted off quietly to a guard tower at the east end of the safe zone, snow cascading down on its tin roof. From there, she begun to keep watch from the tower over the course of the night. The somewhat old AG-90 had no heating systems, and she was shivering. A lot. But it was her job, so she toughed it out, and was used to it, seeing as she used to live in Bruges.

Muarry walks into the barracks, scanning the bunks.  Luckily they had been given extra blankets for the winter.  He chuckles at the Frenchy's remark, "Settle for some alcohol, sonny, it'll make you feel nice and warm, and get your body used to the temperature."

"This place have a FOL or something anywhere?  I need to piss."

de Wit chimes in over the radio, asking for someone to bring her coffee. At this point she had sat in tbe tower (at night, in the snow, in the unheated suit, mind you) for over four hours.

"I'm coming, de Wit.  I need to find the can anyway."  Buchanan walks out into the snow.

Martin rolled his eyes. "Yeah. Sure."

Arthur enters the barracks and scans the cupboards.  "Martin, I found some tea.  Anyone got a kettle?"
