Author Topic: What electives should I choose out of this list?  (Read 3453 times)

So since I start school tomorrow, I was thinking about possibly adding another course for me to do.
Im interested in Computers so I naturally choose to look for ones in Computers
Problem is, I Dont know which course to pick. So help me fellow blocklanders.
Also heres the list

Also the AP courses are way out of my league so it definitely not going to be chosen

game design

digital arts 1

C++, Java, or Web Design IMO

I wish I had programming classes at my school... :/

C++ or audio engineering. Once you get down and dirty with C++, you can go places in the computer world. So it's a good place to start. And audio engineering is just fun.

C++ and computer science, they go hand in hand

use a randomization program or site

Holy stuff if my school offered those classes I would be in heaven

If you live in ohio and go to the OH Virtual Academy you get access.
Be warned though
They arent cheap.
Each individual elective course for a full year costs $425, just as it does for me

I really don't understand why you would go to an online school for $425 a class. That stuff is crazy. $3500 covers 5 18 credit hours at my college which is like 5 or 6 classes depending on if they're 3 or 4 credits each. So for 4 3 credits and 1 4 credit it comes to like $700 a class. That covers a real classroom too, your prices are insane!

C++. You can make some cool stuff with that

Never do any tech classes like game design or C++. You will be deemed a nerd for the rest of your high school life and those bully jocks who are on the football team will beat you up and kiss the girl you have a crush on. I know because i see it in movies all the time.

Oops, forgot to add Elective to the course
Basicaly each elective is $425 for a year
The school itself is tuition free, its just the electives that cost money

What's the one involving the hardware.

Do that and C++.
