With the release of Rome 2: Total War just around the corner, it's strange that I don't see that much talk about it around here.

There's also a crap tonne of gameplay footage on their channel here:

i never see ANYONE talk about

imo you're better off playing Napoleon.

Empire has SO MUCH potential it just doesn't reach :(

Yeah, he's right. Empire was really buggy and glitchy on release. But come on, you get to fight in India, America AND Europe. For me that does outweigh the bugs

i want rome 2 so bad even though i'll probs never really get into it dfuisgheirusghj;uirhj

Nickelob pls

But seriously, with most TW campaigns I get a few dozen turns in and just save and quit, I have so many unfinished saves just sitting there. But i'm pretty confident Rome II will be easy to get into.

i only own empire and rome 1, and empire was easy to get into but it's not one of those games i play extremely often like Civ5 or something.  there's no denying that it looks amazing, well-developed, and jaw-dropping pretty though.

Rome 2 looks really fluid. I'm excited.

I only played the Empires demo, it was alright. More of a Combat Mission kind of guy.

Ehh, imo Empire was the weakest of the entire series. You should try out some of the other demos

There's a lot of controversy about it being unpolished in the community but there's no controversy as to how fun it was. It was a fun as hell game at any rate, I enjoyed it too.
