Also, another reason why I am getting this is because I can't use the 3D because it hurts my eyes and is basically useless for me. I have to take off my glasses for it not to hurt and then I can't see anything.

Then keep the 3D off. Why spend more money on a worse shape and design with less features?
The thing is the size of a WiiU controller and it has no screen guard.
Nice and "portable"...

Also, 120$ is the amount I spent on my 3DS when it was still relatively new. You'd rather spend more on a worse design with less features? Go for it..

Uh..Ill stick to my SP thanks..
Would you be talking about the Gameboy Advance SP?

Selling my 3DS XL to get one of these for myself and one for my brother instead of having to share one.

Why are you all complaining about just a silly little console? Sure it might look dumb, but as other said its for a younger audience, that way its more strong and doesn't snap in half, which is why it doesn't have hinges. They also got rid of the 3d because it can hurt eyes of children.

Basically, this isn't for teenagers/adults, its more based around children under 7. Also it's cheaper, likely because they got rid of the 3d and such.

You mean the best Gameboy design ever? Yes.
It's already outlived 2 DS's and one 3DS..

Selling your 3DS XL wont pay for 2 "2DS's"
...Unless you can rip a guy off for 260$ that is...

why are they even trying anymore

why are they even trying anymore

They aren't. That's the thing.

why are they even trying anymore
they're trying pretty good, attracting a younger audience in the gaming community to get them to buy games, so they can earn money and probably make a better console suited for an older audience, and more games.

This is the worst way to bring in revenue because now they're pissing off all the old school fans. If they aim for the older audiences the newer audiences will in turn be influenced by them and be brought to like them regardless.

Babying up a name like Nintendo is shameful by pandering to the grade school demographic.
I thought they finally were on the right track with ZombieU which was a half decent zombie game.

It's been two console generation since I was impressed.. I really doubt there gonna pull it around now.

Dude ZombiU was a piece of stuff. Nintendo didn't even make it.

To be honest Nintendo has always been a pretty "baby" company, besides some violent games which are usually by another company. Remember the Gameboy?

Well apparently Nintendo is going to pull their wild card and mass spree games on the Wii U, but it's been a while.

Opinions opinions...

I think they did it just to make a cheaper version of the 3ds available, and so that people who don't like the 3d feature don't have to pay extra for it. I don't see how anybody could be angered by this since nobody's forcing you to use it.
