Religion war imminent
Brace for loving impact

idk what people mean when they always say "All wrong-doings can be forgiven, all but one: Not believing in God."

what, will god slap me in the face or something lol

also i have never prayed to anything and my life is pretty good, i make good food, i live with a nice family and i have plenty of entertainment

2. Faith is believing in God even though you have no reason too, I think.
4. The fun that's had and the worthwhile people I meet along the way.

also forget you if you think religious people are dumb just for being religious

well what with the other explinations... where did the other stuff come from? god was always there.
Humans are gods. They made the gods to explain the unexplained because the unexplained was feared.

That's just my take on it.

I do not know if God exists, and nobody else does either.
Faith is slipping into circular logic.
I have always been a creature of doubt, which makes me very easygoing. When something I expect to happen doesn't happen, it's not such a major thing anymore.
Life is worth living because I can't face oblivion. It's worth living because I derive some enjoyment from existence. I might also be able to improve the lives of others, and I hope I do already.

Read the whole post next time, I said the taste was better after I prayed than before I served the food.
why did you edit the quote lol

1. Does God exist? why or why not?  (Something had to create the Cosmos. But something had to create God, too.)
2. What is faith?  (One's belief in something that they cannot see or completely understand.)
3. What has led you to believe or to doubt? Why?  (A mixture of logic and knowledge.)
4. What makes your life meaningful/ worthwhile?  (Family, friends, the things I do.)

Personally, in my opinion, 90% of the world is going about both religion and science the wrong way. If you ask me, the perfect thing is a mixture of both. Have the faith to believe in a higher power, that there is something out there worth seeking, while having enough common sense to keep your eyes ahead and down, and work with what you have and strive for more.

3 pages with no major argument.
Goody.

Age: 18

1. Does God exist? why or why not?

The universe is a construct that came about from pure energy that coalesced into hydrogen and subsequently turned into stars, which exploded and made heavy elements, and that kickstarted the universe into a place that could readily create organisms. That a sentient, omnipitent entity could have had the foresight, absolute knowledge and access to the raw energy required strikes me as practically impossible.

2. What is faith?

It is the belief in a certain credo, religious or otherwise.

3. What has led you to believe or to doubt? Why?

If there was a god, it would not be biased towards a certain race, gender, or loveual orientation, because each person would still be the god's creation. With omnipotence and a lack of need comes a higher knowledge, as they would not need to hunt planetary races, fend for themselves, or do anything other than float around looking at people for their amusement. I guess my ultimate question to this would be "Why would your god create the universe? Is it your god's plaything? is it out of necessity? Are there more gods that he lost a bet to? If I was to believe in anything, it certainly wouldn't be monotheism.

4. What makes your life meaningful / worthwhile?

There is no meaning of life, as far as I've been able to tell. At this point in my life, I feel that if I had a concrete meaning in my life, I would have known about it. I've always been more at home on the road than anywhere else, and I follow whatever strikes my fancy at the time. I live my life for the journey, and I've been getting along just fine.

1. It's the person's belief. Nobody actually knows if he exists or not. It's what makes religion, well, religion.

2. Faith is a belief of something that may or may not become or is true.

3. Religion is a little something more than just a opinion, rather than a strong, life long belief. In other words, refer to #1 for a basic answer.

4. That you are able to live that life. It is nonsense not to take life for granted. Be grateful that you DO atleast have life.

Consider this entire thread lucky lol.

you didn't answer any of those correctly.
I don't really think there is a "correct" way to answer all this, honestly. It's all perspective.

Consider this entire thread lucky lol.
Well I wouldn't be surprised if some butthurt guy responds in stupid way to someone like Zebolte or someone.

guys guys what if...

some advanced race from the previous universe caused the big bang

and then some advanced race in this universe in many billions of years will cause ANOTHER big boom

I don't really think there is a "correct" way to answer all this, honestly. It's all perspective.
no, not like that. his answers were irrelivent to the questions.

and where does god come from
If God is omnipotent and created everything, it wouldn't be irrational to believe that he's unaffected by (and probably created) time. Meaning God had no beginning and therefore doesn't need any sort of origin.

All wrong-doings can be forgiven, all but one: Not believing in God.
What religion do you believe in? Because that's not what the Bible says
If that was true then conversion to Christianity would be useless because you have already committed an unforgivable sin. That's silly

idk what people mean when they always say "All wrong-doings can be forgiven, all but one: Not believing in God."
What
Who is saying these things, I've never heard anybody say this before in my life
