I've never played SR3 but so far (I've only played SR4 today) I liked the first two games more than SR4

Saints Row 3 sucks dude. Seriously, it's up to you but 2 was so much better. Like at least 4 times better. I haven't played 4 yet but apparently it's on par with 2 as well.

I'm glad I got SR3 as a gift because If I bought that stuff It would have been a big waste of money.

I've played both JC2 and Saints Row 3, and I own both. I personally think it's not worth trading in JC2 plus another game for SR3. If you really want something amazing, you should consider GTA V. It could be worth the money. My brother loves SR3 though, SR3 got many mixed reactions.

2 has good graphics, gameplay up the arse, loads of things to do, interesting characters, great story, lots of humour and loads of customization

i'd say go for 2, and dont bloody sell just cause 2
