forget off, I can have an opinion. I didn't like the map, I didn't like the location, I didn't like the handling on the vehicles, I found the map slow and tedious to get around, I found it boring and I didn't like the military being on my ass for everything.

i'm not saying "OGM U CANT HAV OPINION"

I didn't like JC2. It was boring.

What is so DIFFERENT???
SR2 had a solid story line that compelled you to find out what happened, and very awesome characters. It wasn't exactly realistic however, but in a good way, letting players.. well, richard around as the head of a gang that wanted nothing more than to kick ass and own the city. And that's what they did. The game gives a good story that's worth looking into, while letting the player have some good old fashion car to the streets gun to the face fun. It's extremely good at what it does. It's ridiculous, and it's proud of that. ZeroPunctuation explains it better.

SR3, meanwhile, completely dumps the interesting characters and good storyline, instead favoring to go all out crazy on the "WTF" moments. While still fun in it's own right, it's no where near as awesome as SR2. SR4 looks to just be a huge overall improvement on the series. I can't speak from personal experience because I haven't played it, but SR4 is most CERTAINLY worth the extra wait.

I don't care about the characters or storyline, I just want to forget around.

I still highly suggest SR4, as SR3, while good for richarding around, still has a fair number of issues.

Also, you're shallow.

i bought SR3 when it went ridic cheap during the sales or whatever

i've also only played like a few missions in coop so far

should i consider getting SR4 on sale and not finishing SR3 from what you guys are telling me about SR3?
I'd totes play with you. You should finish sr3 tho. I'll finish it with you :))))

Also, you're shallow.
the entire purpose of games is entertainment
if he doesn't like games for the same reasons that you do, that makes him shallow??????????

How am I shallow for wanting to buy an open-world game and not wanting to play with story?

the problem with every coop story game i do (borderlands/2, sr3, etc.) is i'll start playing it with someone and then eventually i'll have no interest in playing it at all anymore and every time i do is usually inconvenient times or just not at all :L

I didn't like the handling on the vehicles

Then you'll hate Saints Row

Then you'll hate Saints Row

Vehicle handling doesn't look as bad .

Vehicle handling doesn't look as bad .
no, it's much worse

Vehicle handling doesn't look as bad .

well, again this is my opinion and is to be taken with a grain of salt, I actually think vehicle handling in JC2 (from what I remember) is better than saints row. Saints Row 2 had it good, but when 3 came up they made it so unrealistic and laughable. I mean, if you don't care about that and just want to have fun then by all means don't take that into account. I realize if you're looking at saints row, realism isn't something you care about but seriously I like cars in video games to actually behave like cars and not little nuggets of forget forget. The handbrake feature is so terribad.

Too bad there's not a demo for you to play.

SR4 is still fun though. it reminds me of Crackdown
Jesus christ so much this. It's basically Crackdown with more love jokes.

Also, coming from somebody who's played all the Saints Row series. The games get worse in order. The first had good multiplayer and fun, but still somewhat serious singleplayer. Second had co-op, and the singleplayer was still great. The third felt a bit too childish, but still had things to do in co-op.

But the fourth game.. it's so.. so bad. It lacks anything that made the other games worthwhile. The customization is borrowed from the last game so theres not really anything new.. Vehicles are useless and honestly will slow you down stuffloads so I avoid them and customizing them is just a hobby really. Don't ever get to use them. There's absolutely nothing to do outside the story.. Killing stuff with these new "FUN" guns feels so.. boring. It's not worth anything over $30 if you're feeling generous.

I know man.. I was driving a car I customized earlier.. and it just felt so.. fake. Smashing through other vehicles and when I hit them they just kinda fly to the side. I really wish it had more impact on collisions.

You don't get a giant purple carrot as a weapon in Just Cause 2
