Author Topic: What steam game should I buy?  (Read 2792 times)

I have a lot of money left over from my birthday, and I want a new steam game, but don't know what game to buy.
I know there is some game out there that will interest me, but I haven't found it yet.

Price range:
0$ - 60$

I like the kind of games where you can go online with other players and do missions/quests together, like Monster Hunter or SWTOR.

Also I like:

Dragons
Dinosaurs
Star Wars
being able to choose what you say to a NPC (like in Skyrim)

Things I DONT like in a video game:

Top-Down person views
(like this:)

Strategy - only games like X-Com enemy unknown
(I have nothing against strategy, but I would like to actually pull off the attack myself rather than choose where to move and observe)

Mind - Puzzle games
(like portal)

Pay monthy

Any suggestions, forums?

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Buy Torchlight 2. It looks really cool.

He doesn't like Top-Down games.

Hotline Miami
Natural Selection 2
Max Payne series

You should try that one where the main character learns how to make up his own mind. I hear it's really good.

I heard that's more intellectually demanding than minesweeper. Not to mention more graphically intensive.

I'm thinking about Warframe.
