How to begin on Blockland?

I've discovered Blockland on greenlight and I bough it ! It looks like pretty cool but hard at beginning.
How can I learn how to play Blockland, where can I start? Thanks

Try joining some servers or playing around on the Freebuild game mode. You'll get the hang of it for sure.

Stay away from Tezuni's severs.

well, this is a sandbox game.
you don't really need to do anything but mess around by building, hosting servers, or going to other people's servers.

look in the gallery section to see some nice builds i guess.

Think of something to make in game. You can download add ons to give the game more features such as new guns, bricks, and vehicles. If you dont feel like doing that, go into multiplayer and find a server that interests you.

First of all, get rtb:

Place the zip in your add-ons folder and restart the game

Rtb then adds a fancy add-on manager / downloader, a way to communicate with your friends on blockland, and server management tools

Then start up the mod manager and download a billion of add-ons

Then restart the game, start a server and enable all your add-ons

Then build spam, explode everything, and have fun

go to whatever servers you want. decide for yourself what you like and what you don't. don't listen to these brats telling you what you can and can't visit.

play online or host your own server. you'll find something fun eventually.

Get control of the numb-pad. A lot of people don't learn how to use this well and that's why there is that second building challenge of moving it into the slot in the tutorial. Once you learn how to use the numb-pad well building becomes a lot easier.
Also experiment with all type of bricks. After awhile of trying all of them you shall find a group/groups you use a lot. Then set these into your favorite brick carts.
Last thing is change your avatar/name early on. People who don't are treated like noobs for not doing this.

Find a server and download addons that people think are good. Think of ideas for future servers you may want to host, and get friends.

And stay away from Tez- Darn it.

The one thing I could tell you, is to stay away from things like family, mario, love, dragon, sonic, etc. RPs
They're most likely going to leave a bad impression of the game.
