Author Topic: Looking for a build that I can use for my boss battles  (Read 1888 times)

Can anyone please give me a good build that I can use for my boss battles?

I will give you all the credit for the build (duh) and I will give you a 20K point start.

When you give me the build, please insert pictures so I am aware of what bricks to use.

I have made a Boss Battles many times, it was always a success. The health was based on players, and made everything more fun. The only problem was, the build. Most of mine were terrible.

You need to make a specific spawn for both teams. How did it not work?

If you need any help with the build, call me. I'm not the best, but I can make something fairly good.

this and

why can't you make one yourself

not trying to be dismissive or anything but i'd like to see if you just don't have time to build or if you aren't a good builder

I am a terrible builder, most of my builds look like stuff.

You have the wrong attitude. If you don't think you can get any better and your builds suck, you really won't get any better.

Is there anyway how I can improve my building? Like tips, videos or something that can help me?

I currently have Tophat working on a build. You can be a backup though just in case he will not finish or I don't get the build soon after weeks when he is done.

The best way to get better at building, in my opinion, is just building. The more you build, the more things you learn; new designs, more efficient brick placement, your strengths and weaknesses, etc. Also, looking at and saving builds you think are cool is a good idea. A lot of the stuff I build is a mixture of small things I have picked up from builds I've seen, as well as things I've taught myself on the way. I suggest you take pictures of things you think look really good or things you think are built well (efficiently or intelligently).

I do not suggest tutorials, videos or anything of that sort because most of them are that person's build style or that person's opinion on how to build and you end up just trying to copy them or they limit you to one approach to building.

Nobody is automatically amazing at building; it's a learned skill. You just have to think you can do it. The worst thing you can do is tell yourself that you can't.

All of this. Also, reconfigure your building controls for convenience or use a numpad.

Yea, I already have the controls for building, even for the super shift (I disable the toggler)
