the sound design for weapons was absolutely terrible.

Wait what? The sound was far better then saints row the third. Saints row the thirds sound design was loving horrible. It was like firing nerf guns.

Are you stuffting me? This isn't even a debate, you're flat out wrong. I remember literally the first thing I thought when I fired the pistol in the starting mission was "Wow. This sounds like a cap gun. Maybe the other guns sound better." After completing the game, the only guns that sounded remotely good were the revolver, automatic pistol, and some of the shotguns. The assault rifles (especially the M16 lookalike), submachine guns, police pistol, and bulldog machine gun all sounded absolutely terrible. Saints Row 3 might not have necessarily had good sound design, but it was miles ahead of SR2.

Saints Row The Third shotguns sound like stuff, Same with the SMGs, pistols, assault rifles,  reload sounds, and the stag guns, oh god the stag guns. The saints row 2 sound effects are miles better.

Uhh I'm probably gonna get Arma 2 Combined OP so I can get DayZero

The saints row 2 sound effects are miles better.
No. They aren't. You are literally wrong. This is like trying to argue with someone who thinks dog food is better than a steak.

Or you could buy me Cubeworld/Megabyte Punch.

SR4 is infinitely better if it's down to only those two.

I'm inclined to agree here but I feel like since SR4 is basically reference research to everything leading up to it he'd be at a loss if he didn't play any of the preceding games.

I'm not sure you know what that word means. The sound design in saints row the third was awful. I don't know what kind of crack you are smoking to think that its even remotely better then saints row 2.

Entire thread is just argueing about SR games now

I'm just speaking from personal experience here that I personally didn't like the majority of the gun's sound design in SR2. Most of the guns sounded really quiet and even the revolver sounded kind of piddly. Hell the M9 look-alike had a slightly better sound than the revolver. The sound design in SR3 was pretty bad as well, but both games had some redeeming factors in terms of sound design. The .45 Shepard in SR3 sounded much heavier and deeper than the GDHC .50 in SR2, but the lighter pistols still sounded lame.
Personally I like the sound design in SR3 more, the guns sound louder, deeper, and more impacting. Again, personal opinion here, it's perfectly okay to not like the sound design of certain games.
I mean they're both pretty poop most of the time

I prefer the shotgun sounds in saints row 2 far more then saints row the third. But yeah both games sound effects were pretty lame.

SR3's desert eagle loving haunted me
HAUNTED ME I TELL YOU

ITT: Stupid people who have never played Saints Row 4 go "Saints row 4 is literally the same game as Saints row 3".

You are literally wrong.
You are figuratively wrong.

Actually I have been wanting Payday 2
Payday 2 is amazing, I suggest it way more than sr3 or 4
