So recently I've been having some trouble with popups.
This has been bothering me for months. I've downloaded tons of adware cleaners (adwcleaner and ect) and ran a Kaspercy check. I can't get rid of it. I use Firefox.
I even reinstalled Firefox. When using Firefox I had adblock plus enabled. The ads pop up at the bottom of the screen and are always either fake Facebook popups or search suggestions with a link to Chitika dot com. (I'm not posting a link because it might give you adware.)
I don't think it has infected just Firefox for the reasons above. It also appears in Chrome and in Steam. I haven't found anything helpful when searching for it online.
Searching "Chitika" on my computer brings up nothing. I've gotten rid of adware before but this is different.
You guys are pretty tech savvy, help me out.
