Author Topic: What is wrong with being gay?  (Read 16568 times)

gay people are the new feminists.
they are surely getting all the rights they want, and someday soon it would be across the entire US and other first world countries;

yet when that day comes, they still will not stfu about it and play the victim forever.

because once you are equal to everyone, you are no longer special. and thats all minority groups even have/had.
this. and family values is a lie.

Agreed, but I don't think it should be. I think that people should just be able to do what they want without causing a lot of controversy.
That will never happen for so long as two humans have different characteristics from each other.

Every human has some inborn wish to be the absolute perfect human possible.
And obviously for them perfection is whatever they are.
And if they're straight, or white, or a woman, or tall or blonde, then they'll believe their characteristics are the more perfect, and anyone else who is different isn't.

People will fight over those sorts of things forever.
The only way that could ever end is if we were all identical, or we were all dead.
And I'd rather live with a world full of prejudice than live with no character or not live at all.

No amount of rights will ever stop discrimination. Gay people, black people, women, all kinds of different groups are still and most likely always will be discriminated against. It's just an ongoing fight to stop it that will never end. That's why we'll "not stfu about it and play the victim forever". The media also encourages it, especially with racism.

Then by your logic, people should be allowed to be vocal about their dislike of family values. There's a reason things are like they are.

I agree wholeheartedly. They have every right to say that, but not to enforce that belief on people who support it. Laws against homoloveuality and other lifestyles have to go.

there's nothing inherently wrong with being gay

just a large portion of society doesnt agree with them, and im the same way.  I dont dislike them, i just dont agree with them

Stop contradicting yourself

so then its all pointless to even fight discrimination.

you made my point 100% thanks

I'm gay and I don't agree with homoloveuals either (their whole "OMG WE NEED RIGHTS" thing)

This doesn't make any sense.

"Agreed, but I don't think it should be. I think that people should just be able to do what they want without causing a lot of controversy."
This is not contradictory, it actually enforces my point, I am afraid.

I don't hate gays, I hate annoying people and attention whores.

Gays sometimes fall into that category though.
