Author Topic: GTA V comes out in a week, Who is getting it?  (Read 2490 times)

So Grand Theft Auto V is set to be released the 17th, this date is quickly approaching. I pretty much don't play any games but I am so excited for this game to come out. I have mine pre ordered right now.

This game looks like it is going to be amazing. It will feature a map 5x bigger then the GTA IV map. Police will also be smarter and more realistic. They will no longer be able to "just know" where you are or know you committed a crime. Civilians will call in crimes you commit and the police will respond to that. They will attempt to arrest you, and not just shoot you immediately. If you manage to get away, I've heard they will still look for you for 24 hours. If you are driving and one gets behind you, they can run your plate and chase you.

I was slightly disappointed with GTA IV but V makes up for all that. They are bringing back ability to fly planes, car modifications, yje largest selection of weapons and vehicles, and something I personally love, re-adding a beach, wilderness, and desert setting. A few things I liked in San Andreas but they took away in IV.

I'm excited to get this, anyone else?

Discuss things you have have heard they are adding or other GTA related things.

I'm sad, both Xbox 360's at my house stopped working and I'm gonna try and get em fixed before the release. If that works I'll get the game. If not I'll cry forever.

I'm going to get it for PC if it ever happens.

Yeah, this.
My Xbox 360 doesn't even work anymore.

I wonder why all the developers decided to release epic games (Last of Us, Bioshock Inf, GTA V, etc) before the release of eighth generation consoles.

The games would have been much better without the outdated technology of PS3 and xbox 360. It's like trying to fight a war with muskets.

OT: Still getting it though.

95% of people are going to play those games on xb360 and ps3
not much people have the new gen consoles
the game developers would lose like most of their revenue if they released on next gen only

Im getting it day one on 360, and upgrading day one when it comes out on the Xbox One

I'm getting it for ps3.

Having it delivered on the 17th for PS3, then my friend will come over and stay the night, party!

I personally hope they made the civilians smarter in regards to driving. All GTAs had in common the civis couldn't drive for stuff and would crash into anything then drive away. Hopefully accidents are more realistic. I'm hoping the same for police, fire, and ambulance. They would just drive hitting every car and building in the way. They would do more harm then good and it was hardly realistic.

I'm actually happy about that. Like I said I rarely play games so me spending all that money on a new console would be pointless. I'm glad I can just get this for my xbox and never have to switch consoles.

I'm not getting GTA V, but I might get GTA Online since that's like the only thing I do in GTA anyway.

I might get for PC after the hype and hopefully price die down. I've never really been a fan of GTA but it seems fun.

I got Saints Row 4 instead, because I want GTA V for the PC.
