Author Topic: Doing great so far in marching band.  (Read 3360 times)

I made a thread a while ago about my school but I stopped complaining about marching band. My feet finally stopped hurting from it and I'm used to be at attention for long periods of time (10 - 15 mins). We already had 3 performances, Away game, Home game, and labor day parade. We did pretty good at the home game even though we were a bit choppy on the charts. Here's out halftime music (Aztec Fire is the only one we recorded)

(Aztec Fire) http://vocaroo.com/i/s1K8RzlvWgm4 (Fun fact: I'm one of the two Annoying Orangeets in the solo)

i play another song called malaguena but i cant find a good recording of it.

No offense to you, but i've been doing band for about 6 years. 4 or 5 of them being marching band. In this time i have also been an active member here.

I've done a lot of shows, played a lot of music, learned a lot of stuff. But i never really brought it up because a lot of us do this. As i said, no offense and i'm not trying to seem dismissive, but this is really just more of something for a blog.

oh well.

marching band was fun but band camp sucks balls

oh well.
Not exactly the prime example of a reasonable or even logical response. But whatever floats your boat.

marching band was fun but band camp sucks balls
After the 3rd year, it's a cake walk.

Lol, this is coming from the same person that said Furling did nothing wrong even though he does the same thing:

B'awww
Ephi, you are a sweety.

Furling is fine by me. Mostly because he really hasn't done anything wrong. ^v^

Anywho, I actually wanted to see this new Star Trek movie quite a lot actually. I guess i'll pick it up over the weekend. It looks pretty nifty.

I've always wanted to join a marching band, but my school doesn't have one. When I was younger, I was part of my schools orchestra though. I was the only cellist.

After the 3rd year, it's a cake walk.
it isn't hard or anything it just sucks
like it's too gd hot
at least in alabama it's so frickin humid. always. it is literally always humid. even in the winter it's humid. humidity here humidity there. humidity gd everywhere. if the humidity here ever isn't above 60% that's when you know some crazy stuff is going down. 80% during the summer
and hot and humid is the worst combination of things ever. on this entire planet. I hate humidity
at least it's not florida I guess

So wait, just because I said I don't mind furling mostly because I hardly know of him since half of the time his topics are filled with stuff heads that I avoid makes me an unreasonable person to judge someone else?

Get your stuff together. That's a load of malarkey.

Also, if this is a join date thing, which sometimes is it. My previous ID was 8652, so bleh bleh.

How about you try going to a forum about music. You'd probably be better off there. Just saying.

i play another song called malaguena but i cant find a good recording of it.
my band plays that too, for the UIL show.

of course i originally play a double reed so i can barely hold my mellophone, forget playing it.
