Oh god not YOU.Excuse me, I'm not trying to be a know it all. It's more like you to behave like this.True, however some of the applications are limited, you can't use it during classes and you have to know how to work the problem out yourself. That's a horrible brown townogy. I'm not saying you CAN'T use calculators, but you do need to learn how to solve equations without them.Technology isn't supposed to just let us type in problems without knowing how to work it out yourself. That's just lazy. Now, if you DO know how to solve an equation and you have limited time, you can use a calculator. But if you can solve it in a minute, why not do it yourself? Now this, I agree with. Some problems CAN take a long time to compute, however you shouldn't use a calculator to just multiply 2 numbers or something like that.I don't know, what if someone is someplace or in a situation that you can't have one around?I'm not condoning calculators, but you have to know how to solve an equation for work, school and any situation that requires knowledge of solving solutions.
stop breaking my quote up, im way too lazy to do that
ill respond with bullets
-that was an insult, i couldnt think of a better opening, sorry
-classes implies school, meaning we're no longer talking about real world applications, your point here is invalid
-and i was saying you need to be fit and know the way to work, its a fair enough brown townogy, you got the point, it did its job
-yes, technology is here to make our life easier.. I bet you couldn't replicate the entire process of your house being powered by electricity, just like knowing how to find the sine of an angle off the top of your head is equally as useless
-i never implied basic mathematical skills aren't necessary, when even using a calculator you need basic mathematics skills
wow that was quick. back so soon already? here you go again with the "IN THUH REEL WORLD" rhetoric, like holy stuff we get it you're euphoric because of your own intelligence.
jesus forget would you shut up already? I never made a 'in the real world' comparison in the entire argument, at least make a valid argument when you reply in the fashion
lol@ jazz already being back. how embarrassing
i bought a key for $5, that's roughly a third of an hour at my work, which is about 20 minutes
not really all the embarrassing if you ask me, a better word couldve been used, but i wouldnt expect too large of a vocabulary from my friend who thinks autism is the only insult ever needed
