here is an example of column multiplication i made poorly in paint
its quiet simply do this and you will be able to do any multiplication sum your teachers give you.
first i did 1 times 1 = 1
then do 1 times 3 = 3
you get 31 at the bottom
bellow 31 add a 0 like this:

do 2 times 1 = 2
then do 2 times 3 = 6
you should end up like this
31

620
do 1+0 = 1
3+2 = 5
and since theirs nothing to add with the 6 just put 6
your answer is 651
Practice column multiplication and you will be able to do any multiplication sum. schools don't do this method any more because they want students to do their clusterforget method
just do column multiplication and ignore any methods the teacher gives to you.
