Why should I use iTunes?

I don't really see it as anything but a music player, but people say it's really good. Can someone give me some whys or why nots about iTunes?

It's a music player. There's nothing much else to explain it. If you want to listen to your favorite songs on-the-go or on the computer, go for it.

i personally find iTunes weighed-down for just listening to music, and it does pretty goofy things sometimes

Spotify has bad quality audio if you don't pay (not to mention it barely pays the artists).  I don't know how people stand using it.  That's why iTunes is great, it gives you lossless quality all the time.

i cant work with it because all it does is pisses me off. I have about 10 + albums I want to put on my iPod but im to lazy to work with itunes

iTune is a complete piece of stuff, the only reason to use it is to get stuff on and off of your Apple product.
