Author Topic: Why should I use iTunes?  (Read 4930 times)

iTune is a complete piece of stuff, the only reason to use it is to get stuff on and off of your Apple product.
is there any possible alternative?

If they is I'd like to know

screw iTunes

i cant work with it because all it does is pisses me off. I have about 10 + albums I want to put on my iPod but im to lazy to work with itunes

Yeah, this application is so complicated and hard to use.

This is so much easier!

few years back there were plenty of alternative software to use with an I product. to just treat it as drag and drop with Avis and MP3s like a normal loving device.

dunno if they still exist though. but they were free.

This is so much easier!
does anyone even use those parts?

i always just open files from explorer to play them lol

Banshee and gmusicbrowser are both amazing, but I'm not sure if they're available for windows.

IMO, pretty much any windows-only media player I've tried has sucked ass.

yeah no one has all that crap open on win amp. when I use it its like 2 inches wide, and only as tall as the task bar.

I heard Spotify is better. I don't own any I products.
Spotify sucks, I used it for a while. It is just horrid, its buggy, it has advertisements unless you actually pay for it, and the sound quality sucks.

With Winamp I just have the main box and my songs up. Well, and some other box.

Sure if only mine looked like that.

iTunes is annoying as forget to use honestly. Winamp is much simpler to use, you're just looking at it as a whole and thinking "Holy stuff thats too much"

i use itunes because i haven't found anything else that was any better
i tried spotify but i didn't really like it as much tbh

He didn't say either of those.
I presume that he thinks that as he says he's "too lazy" to use iTunes.  To sync a device with iTunes, you just plug the device in, hit the button for the device right next to the store button, then hit sync.  This takes just a few seconds.

I have yet to see anyone make a case against iTunes other than "it sucks"

it's terribly bloated and all the stuff that comes with it really slows down "wake up" time when starting up a windows based computer

You shouldn't be using iTunes
