i still like blockland but i can barely find servers that aren't overused ideas like jail escape and such.

i wouldn't even mind if they'd take it in some sort of interesting turn that would make it like it's a completely new thing, but it's just the same stuff over and over again.

Looking back on my earliest Blockland memories, I remember how exciting and immersing the game was the first two years I played it. I think it just lost its luster for me when Terrains dissapeared... I just can't find the same enjoyment anymore with just a slate map. It's just not the fresh prince it used to be for me... But it still has its appeal in some spots.

No it's not.

And in all honesty, I'm sick of all the stuff servers. Jail Escapes, half assed TDMs, the mass of RPs, screw them all.
We need more diversity and I feel the community is to blame. The people that host servers are all like minded kids that like the same half assed stuff.

Also, the addons that have real potential to change server styles are kept from the public to be "private", and when they die out, so does that innovative server and its addons with it.

Yeah, it's complete normal to get bored of a game if you've been playing for a couple of years, but I've only been playing for one year and even I'm getting tired of it.
