I'm one of those cheesy oddballs that thinks love is more of a conscious choice than a feeling. You can feel like you really like someone and you can feel attracted to someone, and people tend to call those two feelings love once they reach a certain intensity. Actual love imo is to care for someone unconditionally, and to want the best for them.
I think the reason marriages so often don't work out well is because people just think love is a feeling, and when the feeling lessens, they assume that they just don't have love for their spouse anymore and decide it's okay to divorce. But if it is just a feeling, what's the point in marriage vows? They seem to imply that love is a choice, because you're vowing to stay with your spouse through thick and thin, even if things get tough. But nowadays people just seem to ignore that part because they don't have that feeling they think is love anymore.

Love is not like. I never had love, I just only had crushes. Girls and boys my age get together most of the time for attention, not love. They probably hate each other.

Don't forget, I am 13, and people date. loving middle school.

Crushes usually lasts for about 3 months, if it's longer then it's love.

Crushes are people who you want but you're not in a relationship with.

Love isn't magical, it's just caring for a person a lot and wanting to be with them all the time or talk to them, and the sadness and emptiness you feel when you're not with them.

And if the big question is if it's real, yes love is real it's a strong affection for someone.
