Author Topic: loving SCHOOL LUNCHES  (Read 14195 times)

My school got free Culver's ice cream for being the #1 school in Missouri. Also, that day, I got a few donuts.

Life is good.

Last year they only had pizza on fridays. Now they have pizza every day, and everyone rarely orders anything else.

Never had a bad school lunch in my life. I love cafeteria food. They serve us freshly-made calzones, pizza, hamburgers, everything! it's great

You're probably still the worst one in New Jersey.
My school is #4 or something in the above state. Lol, Missouri.
Do you even learn anything there?

On topic: I purchase lunch at school, and it's 10x better than what's in the OP.

In English we did a section on Coming of Age and we read Schooled (a book) and other short stories and such. We also wrote our own short story.

In Math we just learned about square roots, cube roots, and other stuff related to it.

In Social Studies we learned about Ancient Egypt and old countries such as Mesopotamia.

And in Science we were learning about Tectonic Plates, the Continential Drift theory, earthquakes, and other neat things I thought were cool.

I also created a video on Netiquette in Digital Literacy, using Windows Live Movie Maker (we're too cheap to afford vegas or anything like that).

And in Music we sang songs from 1940, 1990, 2000, 1941, 1991, and 2001. Each year had 20 songs to write down and sing.

In FACS I made yellow cake peanut butter chip cookies. They were really good.

So, technically, I've been learning and doing.

just curious but what grade are you in? no offense but I have never heard these terms used in anything above elementary school

I haven't eaten school lunch since middle school. Usually I just don't eat lunch, but more recently I just go off campus with some friends and grab lunch at Subway or something.

oh okay

But actually, Social Studies is called World History.

I understand. It's called "Social studies" in the school I go to, also.
I guess Missouri is better than Alabama and Mississippi and all those "poor" southern places.

my school sells cheeseburgers and fries, sometimes subway. and tons of different snacks

it's amazing
