what if I don't have a gamepad

I tried using http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=vjoy and launching a controller-supported game (detected the gamepad and used it) but it didn't check the badge

only ~270/300 will be random, first 30 (or less) are selected by past participation and whatnot
the chances are so slim but i hope i get chosen


also, i've launched (and briefly played) several games with a controller, in big picture mode, so i don't know whats up with that part of the badge
(edit: there we go. you have to press a button on the gamepad to startup big picture mode, which was the home button lol)

What do you guys think the next announcement is going to be? SteamOS is just a circle, Steam Hardware was a circle inside a box(The OS inside the hardware), and now there's a circle plus a circle. Local multiplayer and splitscreen options maybe? Controller?
