So far, it looks like they're keeping the battle system the same. The timer is likely a bug.

Personally, I want TTR to be a near-exact replica of TT. Yes, some things need to be changed ( Why should I need to do 600 multiplayer golf courses to get 1 trophy? ), but only minor things like that.

But I swear, if they add tails to the toons, even if they're optional, I will never forgive them.

if they added tails i'd kill myself and seclude myself in hell, away from the inaccurate fan art.

The blog post said "see you next month". That either means it will be coming out next month, or the next letter will be. I assume the next letter would have info on cog headquarters.
