The real way to do it is go into chrome://extensions delete shady extensions then go into settings for chrome and change default search engine/homepage.

It completely disabled Conduit from doing anything harmful on my laptop.

I understand where you're coming from, though. Malwarebytes mainly goes for Malware, and not an actual Anti-Virus, which is why MSE, Avast, and Kaspersky are considered the best anti-viruses

I have the new Chrome now, and it's so strangely arranged (interface-wise). I don't know why Google changed the look of it, it was easy to use before.

Instead of the 8 most common pages filling the screen nicely, they conveniently shrink to tiny, tiny little boxes in the middle of the screen.
I guess it's not only youtube they like ruining.

If you guys don't like this, get either FVD Speed Dial or Awesome New Tab Page. Those have widgets you can download that do certain things like a reddit widget and other things. I would personally prefer Awesome New Tab Page.
