tl;dr - This is amazing. It's much better than the current mechanical prosthetics we have now. The leg is adjustable even when sitting down and it uses electrical impulses sent from the brain to control it's movement.

Wow, astonishing. It just shows how we're advancing technologically and medically. Pretty soon, life expectancy's will jump enormously because of these advancements.

That's been my thought, but it'll probably be 25-30 years.
Prosthesis isn't a pressing area for extending lifespans.

This kind of thing is why I want to get a career in biotech. I want to help people. I want to make prosthetic limbs that feel real, not stiff pieces of plastic. This is a step toward the future.

I wonder when they're going to make prosthetics that look like automail.
