I'm the opposite of e-maxx, if it's older than 10 years old it drops below my radar. I could have gotten a Ferrari Testarossa, but I picked my car over it because the Testarossa is too old for my liking.
I'm basically the same way. Only old car I really like is the BMW E30.

I don't like most old cars, but there are some exceptions, like the diablo

just found out this is gonna be mine sisters. idk i like these cars

You shouldn't have to do that every time you shift gears or get going from a stand still. You literally only have to be smooth with it. Power is pretty much irrelevant, what matters is RPM and load. You need to slowly press down the gas pedal to keep the RPM above 1k as you release the clutch and add more load to the engine.

pretty much

i've gotten so good at driving manuals that I don't even need to use the clutch anymore (of course, I still do because it's a lot of effort to rev the engine to the perfect rpm to slip straight into gear) but if you're game to learn to drive a manual you should invest in learning how to seesaw which is the perfect elevation of the clutch as you apply pressure to the accelerator

you gotta experiment for each car but once you've got it down it saves you a lot of time and damage and it's also decent for learning how to dropshift

After asking my dad, he says he is looking for a '92-'95 BMW E36 to put his Mustang's engine into.  The engine bays are sufficient enough for the parts and he needs minimal prices for installation (brackets and stuff).  Doesn't really matter if the car is a roller or not, but a roller would probably be cheaper.

I just found a 2002 Olds Intrigue like mine on AutoTrader with 17,000 miles for $5,000.

Redline at 5k RPM. Quality engineering.

Is it cold where you live, or does it just idle high?

idle was set wrong normally idles around 1k

YESSSSSS

I saw a nice silver one today.

Some four-door Porsche was behind it too, but whatever.

Panamera? Or Cayenne? Both are awesome.

porsches are boring though. they look so uninteresting

I assume he meant panamera because he said 4 door, not SUV. I see like 50 a day though, they're nothing special for me. Same with Bentleys, I see more Bentleys on the road than Dodges. Defeats the whole purpose of it being a Bentley if everybody has one.

Fun fact, the GT-R on the far left of this picture is the one that I drive all the time.
