I read more about the Nissan IDx in C/D.  I think it looks like a BMW 2002 was rear-ended by a Spyker now.

Also, what do you guys think of the renderings for the Mercedes-Benz GT AMG?  It's a little SLS for half the price.

Image name is so freaking long, but won't let me open to photo tag.

so my spider is on jackstands again and this is the forecast for tomorrow
Snowfall:
    5-8 in

right now its 60oF and raining

I don't mean MPG efficiency. I mean power derived from each liter of gasoline efficiency. I'd rather have a 6.3L v8 produced in 2014 where it makes 630hp than have a 7L v8 produced in 1967 where it makes 450 horsepower.
that doesn't mean they were made like that simply because the designers were lazy.

You are trying to compare modern day logic to a 50 year old issue.  At the time that Yenko Camaro  was a real powerhouse.  You have to appreciate it for what it was like when it was built.  Stop acting like they had the access to all of our engine design knowledge and technology back then because they didn't.

Btw when the Chevrolet Chevelle  came out with the 454 ci LS6 it was the fastest production car in the world iirc.

i plan for my first car to be a either a volvo, a BMW, or a volkswagen

leather is a terrible material
it gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and it's just uncomfortable in general. idk why it's considered a luxury. it doesn't even look good

My seats are the perfect combination of leather and cloth. They're cloth down the middle with leather near the edges..

i've never had that problem

i've never had that problem
You've never parked outside then. It's an immense problem with leather.

Seats in my van are the worst imaginable. Horrible material and quite stiff. They can't move at all except backwards and forwards, and manually with the bar under the seat at that.

i've never had that problem
you can't not have the problems if you have leather seats :I
so I'm assuming you've never had leather seats?
it also sounds weird, and has too little friction

It rained this weekend and I had so much fun sliding around. I generally avoid sliding because ever since I got new tires it's become difficult to drift and when I do I feel like I just burned a few dollars, but in the rain the damage to the tire is so much more minimal. So I get sideways as much as possible. I also went to the desert this weekend, so the mountain ride there and back was crazy. It was raining hard the way there, and my friend drove the way back, but we still cornered hard. Here's a stuffty 10 second clip from Snapchat I took on our way back today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8jWoe4G4qA (thanks Martin / Beachbum790 for the music!)
