Your Lancer has ABS.
but, all the cars do. it's a setting in the game

Haha thats awesome.

I got my rims back on car since Im hoping the snow and salt are gone. Hello spring, you were missed.

Is the BR-Z rear wheel drive? If so, isn't it the only non 4wd Subaru?

The BRZ is rear wheel drive. It actually stands for Boxer (engine), Rear Wheel Drive, Zenith. Some other subies have been rear wheel drive (and I think a few front wheel drive) but yes it's abnormal. It's technically a Toyota 86 though.

Ah, Ok. I knew about the Toyoto/Subaru partnership, I just never gave any thought to how it was setup.

so my jaguar is like broken again

its running sooper rich all the time

if it had carbs on it all i would have to do is turn a few screws and bam done
but since it has EFI all this stuff could be wrong with it
COOLANT TEMP SENSOR
FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
OXYGEN SENSOR
FUEL INJECTORS
COLD START CIRCUIT
FUEL CHANGEOVER SYSTEM
AIR FLOW METER
ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNITcopy+paste

but i have narrowed it down to either the coolant temp sensors or the o2 sensor
mainly because it happend all at once and the o2 sensor light is on (yet for some bizarre reason the previous owner disconnected the light from the light frame)

First off, this reset has nothing to do with the O2 sensor itself. It is merely a maintenance "reminder" light, required by our dear government, telling you it's time to do the x0,000 mile service. It's driven by the speedo, and turns on a light on the dash after a cetain mileage has passed. In the case of Jag, the light says Ox sensor. Other brands had the light labeled "EGR" or "Service" or ...

wow jag y u do dis i thought i was on to something

so um i guess i fixed it

Can any of you guys recommend cars that I could pick up at like less than 2 grand that are rwd, manual, 2 door, and not suv's and stuff?  stuff like MX-5's and MR2's.

Also I know my price is a bit low, I'm willing to do some work on them, I just can't think of what car to look for.

300zx?
Checked for those, found a few but most that are at least driveable in my area are way to expensive.  thanks for the suggestion, though.

300zx?

Yeah those are not for good price.  Those never depreciate that fast.

There are a lot of older cars on Craigslist that might be worthwhile.  I'd say anything from the 70s and 80s would be in usable condition and have minimal body issues.  90s cars might be an option too.

Sorry if I'm not helpful.  Are you looking for small cars?  Getting that impression from your examples.

Basically what I'm looking for is a cheap reliable two door manual thats also rear wheel drive. Also "small" isn't just the only thing.  There are plenty of small cars from the 70s 80s and 90s that fit those prerequisites but I would never touch.  I'm essentially looking for the 70s/80s/90s and maybe even 2000s equivalent to a modern MX-5 or BRZ but not brand new and cheap enough so that I can still have my truck to go to work in, but have a sports car to play with on the side.

http://www.autotempest.com/ might be one of the best places you can search for starts.

Doesn't really mean anything, but my dad's first car was a '74 LTD like this.  I don't know the details on why he got rid of it, but he wasn't really smart with that car and it still fed up with him.  Yeah, he accidentally gave it diesel gasoline once.

Older cars can also be easier to repair.  Most parts and their setups are quite primitive and don't have all these special bolts and stuff, meaning with knowledge, you can probably repair them at home.
