the guy i bought my alfa from had a honda bike

i'm p sure it was the rebel

THIS is a cool bike:

2014 Honda Fury
Not really what I'm looking for though, I like the sabre better. Looks more comfortable.
how come all the pictures of them are profile? don't they think someone would wanna see it from another angle?

anyway, personally I don't like that style of motorcycle. I prefer sporty ones

i don't know if your parents will be happy about this but you should try and see if they will let you use your savings account

Lol no that won't work.  My list of some the next things I'm doing go as follows:

>Get a job (been parked on this part for several months now, nobody will hire me)
>Get a car (mom won't want to drive me in without losing patience, so I have to get something fast, so most likely cheap)
>Continue saving so I can invest in something cool
>Depending on what's available, I'll go car shopping again for something much better with all intentions of style/performance

Minimum wage is $7.50/hr if I remember right, and I'm assuming that's what I'll start with and be stuck with for a while.

4 angles, there we go

I like sporty bikes, but they aren't good for a first time motorcyclist. Shifting on a sport bike is a little more fragile than say, a cruiser. Not to mention, you're riding on your hands, whereas other bikes you ride on your ass. I've got an old friend who's aunt rides motorcycles, and we had a fairly lengthy conversation about them. I almost bought HER bike, but my parents wouldn't fund it so... that didn't work out.

When I got my taxes back I wanted to go look at a Yamaha R6 for my first bike. However I don't even have a license or anything like it and obviously its harder to buy a bike when you don't know what to look at on the bike itself to make sure it isn't complete stuff. But I'd definitely like to get one at some point.

If I ever get a bike I'd get a Suzuki Hayabusa and keep my car. I'd probably ride the bike once a month, and I'd probably die within a few months of owning it. I just want the ability to go 250mph.

I'd need to keep my car anyway since this is a four seasons state. I feel like they're also cheap enough I could probably keep both of my cars and have the bike but damn that's a lot of toys.

the rear end of the hayabusa looks really weird :v

Those of you looking into bikes, I recommend these reads:

Link #2

Using both of these links is how I figured out what I want to do about a bike.

you're seeing a thorax too?

I don't think it looks particularly weird.

oh. well, that isn't the newest model then
now it is. and idk, I think it does. the whole thing looks pretty insect-like, really

I don't see the insect-ness. Regardless, I don't think any bikes look good because I'm not really a bike person, the only reason I want a Hayabusa is because it's the fastest production bike. Aside from going fast, it'd sit in the back of my garage where nobody will see it.

I may know virtually every car in America and then some, but I know almost nothing about bikes lol. Other than a few notable manufacturers. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head:

Harley-Davidson
Suzuki
Honda
Yamaha
KTM
Ducati
Can-Am

I know nothing about models lol

I'm a 50's fanboy, so the cruiser is by far my favorite type of bike. It's also been a life goal of mine to one day build a rat racer from the ground up
