my theory was that they won't give you over so-and-so $$ with it. like 10k total maybe? anything under that would be kinda silly bc I think not many people have cars worth less than 3k

It's just the paint job. It's a surplus M113 APC from the US Army, they were heavily used in Vietnam to carry troops around. Also the hull is made out of aluminium.
