Passed inspection, just need to get the plates (and the bolts to hold them in place) and I'm good to go.

my car hasn't been this shiny in a long time

Someday I should import one these and sell it here, I'd make a huge profit. I've seen two both for sale near where I live (no idea on the prices though).

This one is a 1996 Alfa Romeo GTV, 41k miles, only $7,400. It's near Toronto, Ontario

Or I could buy this mint '98 spider, same mileage, for about $2,500 more

yeah those gtv alfas are cool, I had one in Gran Turismo, if I were to import a car from somewhere else though it would be either a Toyota sera

or a VAZ 2104, I just think they look cool

I like american cars
American cars are cool up until about 1990, then meh, there are a few stand outs like the Ford Probe or 1996 Cutlass 2 door or maybe the neon sRT4 but other than that modern American cars that aren't made for performance like chargers or mustangs are getting blander and look more like foreign competitors by the year. In 1985 there was a distinct difference in the way American cars looked compared to the rest of the world

but now...........

Seras aren't too hard to come by. I've seen two that I can remember irl. I see them online every now and then too. I'd drive one

Going in for my driving test on Wednesday. Have a feeling like I will do fine, but I will end up screwing SOMETHING up.

o ye i forgot
i saw this on the 4th

Besides the Caprice-based Impala SS from the '90s, that's one of my most favorite Impalas. But ingest what you're saying though. Ford has brought so many of its European models (Focus, Fiesta, C-Max, Contour (defunct), Fusion, Mercury Cougar (defunct), etc) to the states over the years that it's cars don't even look American anymore. Even the Mustang is slipping into the void.

i had a dream last night where i was pulled over by a red corvette
like, an unmarked car
but it had a lightbar so it wasn't 100% unmarked?

We will let you be the non-american car expert

Did you tell me to leave you alone?

More news on my car:

So while driving home from the inspection place, I noticed that my "Service Engine Soon" light was on. I couldn't recall if it'd been on before and I hadn't noticed (head-on view somewhat hidden by steering wheel) it earlier. The A/C also didn't seem to be working that well either, and the heat index outside was beyond 110 degrees so it was pissing me off. I waited for my dad to get home and he ran a diagnostic scan on the car and got error code P1404, which could indicate a faulty EGR valve. If that's the case, it could be very recent because I just passed emissions two weeks ago. So it doesn't seem to be anything to urgent but I'll want to deal with it before I need inspections again.

And as for the A/C, when my dad started the car to run the diagnostic tool, it seemed to be working just fine. I don't know what the deal was with it.

List of things that need fixing or repair:

- driver window motor (driver window is completely unusable and needs to be wedged to keep from falling into the door)
- brake lines (very rusty, costly job but needs to be done)
- front left engine mount (needs replacement, causing a bit of movement)
- left rear quarter panel (rusted through, not sure what I can do about it yet, never used or even seen how to use body filler)
- EGR valve?
