another thing I saw at the pick n pull, there was a 1998 camry there, and it was one I recognized, one back wheel was blue and the other was pink. It had a Koala care baby station sticker on it. It belonged to a pothead at my school, he didn't ever give a stuff about it and it was covered in dents and scratches. I was happy that its torture was over

It doesn't have to be human fluids either. they'll put biohazard stickers on for animal blood too.

The prowler driver is now also dead. :(

Yeah was just gonna post that. Didn't know the guy but considering I know where his driveway is and the fact that I used to see him driving his Prowler past Hardee's and stuff and point it out to my coworkers is surreal.

It is for this reason I think driving tests should be more stringent and should be more focused on training rather than competency at the time of the test.  If driver education was taken more seriously stuff like this would happen less.

Just found out that the driver of the Ranger was the brother of my crush's best friend. NOW stuff is going down and things are getting ugly.

anyone have any experience with bmw's? im looking at a 1997 328i tomorrow. i see mixed reviews about costs of repairs and whatnot online so im not too sure

My dad has a '94 318ti. Tends to have more complications in terms of working on it yourself but it's still a cool car.

And then there's Zloff, who has his 3-series and would know way more than me.

e36 bmw's are probably the cheapest to own tbh. the mechanicals and electronics are simple and robust, there's plenty of room to work with in the engine bay (if it ever needs to be worked on for some odd reason), and low-trim high-mileage e36 beaters tend to be all over the place which you could rip parts from for cheap. they're awesome cars all-around, really. especially if you can find one with a glove box that doesn't sag or seats without rips

i could tell you what to look for in/on the car if you tell me the mileage and any maintenance history. i myself almost bought a boston green '98 328i convertible w/ hardtop, but fell hard for e46 coupes and went with that instead lol. i would still kill to have an e36 m3

That sounds amazing.

I spent all evening yesterday in my father's '94 318Ci just cruising alone and taking some pictures. The 5-speed manual shifts like butter when you want it to and aggressively at higher RPM's. It's not fast, but handles incredibly around corners compared to the handful of boring, purposeful cars that my family owns. The Boston Green paint looks nice, except where the clear coat is peeling on the trunk lid. The handbrake barely works. The manual top is falling apart. It leaks and flaps in the wind in several places, but still serves its purpose after about a dozen safety pins. The previous owner's son blew up the clutch trying to do a burnout. In doing so he also damaged the original transmission enough to put first gear out of commission. My dad and I swapped a used one in almost a year ago that doesn't seem to have any issues. The only rust spot is on the hood, maybe about the size of a quarter (edited out in the pictures). Pretty sure the car was sold and spent most of its life in Texas. It's loud, partly due to what I believe is a small exhaust leak, but it makes it more exciting when you put your foot down. I hadn't driven a car where I grinned going under every overpass. People stare when you start it or wind the revs up. Despite its flaws I still really like it and it's the most fun car I have driven.
I was glad to have the top down when a Maserati Ghibli exited the interstate onto the highway right next to me. I almost died later hearing it pop and burble when the guy was downshifting in a turn lane.

my mom had one and it was cute but it fell apart quickly. I like small trucks. She sold it and he wrecked it in just a month. Sometimes I see it around town with its forgeted up front end.
