Holy stuff that looks just like my uncles truck and garage in Spokane Washington.

freightliner makes the most beautiful trucks

But the thing is, do you really expect to drive a semi around town? Do you realize how expensive they are to buy, and to run?

I don't think he wants one for everyday life just because they look cool lol

That's such an ugly truck, rofl. Why the forget would you want that? I legitimately would not be caught DEAD within 10 feet of that thing-- not only does it showcase the lowest point of humanity with it's two gigantic smoke stack exhaust pipes and exceptionally unaerodynamic body, but it's representative of a culture of people that literally nobody likes.

Don't get me wrong, the other truck is ugly too, but at least it's not that semi.

What if you had to drive by it on a 2 lane highway? Would you just not pass it?

I do that all the time in my large passenger van lol.

wtf, I don't expect to own one at all. I don't wanna drive one of those lol. they're just the coolest looking things on ten wheels

what? why would you need to pass it? trucks aren't notorious for going slower than anyone else, and even if they did why would it be any different than passing a car?

He's $trinick. Last time I checked, he likes driving fast.

I wonder if he is like the C/D people who save their money so they can afford speeding tickets..

EDIT: What's with everyone hating on my truck? It's not that bad, honestly.

it is. why does anyone like old cars like that?

Because you can actually work with one. You can do so much more to an old vehicle than a new one. It's also cheaper to build a motor for say, a '67 mustang than a 2013 mustang. The body lines are beautiful, and they sound great. There aren't nearly as many parts, and you can actually get to the whole motor.
Look here:

What can you see in this engine bay? The whole engine block is hidden away so you can't get to it.
Now look here:

I can see a lot more major components to the motor, also making it quicker and easier to work on.

Get my point?

for everything you said, there is certainly a reason
especially the mustang engine part. why would you even make that comparison. ofc a newer, better engine would be more expensive
