To a lot of people it is. Our last car we could afford was only $700
What does that have to do with the mileage on the engine?

Tip: 50k was referring to 50,000 miles on the vehicle in that context, not a $50k vehicle.

Oops. I always get that mixed up. Fixed

TBH I never really realized that Range Rover / Land Rover models have names. Like, it makes sense and all, but I've only ever seen one kind of Rover. I mean, looking at the lineup there's small differences in models but they all look pretty much the exact same to me. Just different sizes.

well, I was kidding a bit. like yeah it's a range rover but that's just a brand from land rover. I mean, it still has the land rover badge and everything
idk how proper it is to call it a land rover, but still, it is one

defender for the win

Kind of like Ram and SRT being brands from Dodge.  They are still somewhat separated, but they originated among the parent company.

I got to drive my dad's Versa around an empty school parking lot for a while on Saturday afternoon.  I'm getting better at the stick shift.  Once I can get from standstill to moving (and reversing) down, I'll probably be able to use the streets.  The car died a few times and I did a lot of bucking, but getting better.
No cars also meant I could drive fast too.  I was whipping up those corners ;)

For some reason I was just innately talented at driving stick. I've never stalled the engine or missed a shift. Then again, since my car is an auto (blegh), I haven't tried performance driving in a stick.

Does your car have paddle shifters?

Probably going to get a 1969 or thereabout ford falcon you can get em cheap if you know where to look and they don't have all that electronic stuff in em so you can fix and dare I say even make almost any part you need just about

I found something on Craigslist recently with two '69 Falcons being sold (~$10k for both) but the owner would not sell them one at a time.  He didn't want them separated.
