I hate it when people do that.

I do it a little more intelligently. I slow down until there's 10 car lengths or so between me and the car I'm gonna pass, then I floor it and scoop around so by the time I'm actually entering the opposite lane I'm going way faster than that car to minimize my time across lines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8jWoe4G4qA

i don't care how stuff it looks.. if you've jimmy rigged your tiny vehicle into a house with a bed and a tiny computer, then that's pretty awesome and you deserve something for your hard work

I'm so mad that I missed out on Targa Trophy last weekend. I didn't get a chance to register before the deadline passed and like all my good car friends were part of it. Last year I know at least three cars crashed, still waiting for the damage report this year.

I'd probably only do it when safe and the car ahead is ten or more under the speed limit. But yeah, it's probably wise to pick up speed before taking the pass.

and a thing for my dad's truck

In other news I left my car at a shop last night to get my cruise control fixed and got a call at about 2 o'clock this afternoon to have them tell me they backed into it with their shop truck. Sad day.

They called me right away and let me know and asked what they wanted me to do. They offered to take it to a body shop right away or leave it so I could see it but I was at school so I just told them to send me a picture and send her to the shop so that's one the manager sent me.

Funny part is that's the one part of the car that has a bunch of bondo and rust and spray paint on it so I have no idea how the shop will work it out.

I was following my dad home in the van and a Ram 3500 dually swerved at his car so that he had to get on the shoulder.  He then sped up and kept wandering out of his lane into the other lane or onto the rumble strip.  My dad took off after him to go get the plates and report him lol

I'd probably be more pissed if it wasn't a $3,000 car but stuff, maybe it'll look better than it did before lol. At least they fixed my cruise for free and they are paying for it.
