My name is Charles and my number is four 1 zero 6 two 7 one 4 one 9. I am just selling the car for the owner. Number and contact info is of owner. If you want to see the car call Charles.

This part of the listing literally hurts my head. What the forget does it even mean? My number is this. It's not my number. If you want to see the car, call someone who's number I didn't or maybe did provide.

I'm a purist when it comes to manual gearboxes, but I'm not an elitist. If I can get a car in manual, I'll get it in manual. That said, my car is auto and I guarantee it's every bit as engaging as any car you've driven. As you guys have said, manual shifting becomes second nature and automatic for your body to do after driving a manual for a while. So at that point, it's about as engaging as blinking. The reason I like manuals isn't because it's 'engaging,' but because it provides more precise control over the car.

Guys, my dad rented a convertible mustang in Miami and it only costs him $35USD per week. Are rental cars very cheap in the US? That's a bit more than a manual Volkswagen Gol without A/C or a stereo with bluetooth/AUX/USB in Argentina.

I can get behind that tho. my mom's veloster lets you manually control the gear changes with paddles or the stick if you choose to do so. no clutch, and otherwise it's auto. and I actually like using it, especially because it prevents the car from shifting down on its own when you're climbing a hill with cruise control. which gets on my nerves

idk if I'm more afraid for the guy with the camera or the guy who lost the wheel

Alright, new situation being considered regarding me getting a car.  My dad found a '05 Neon SXT with SRT aftermarket parts (except rims) on it from Craigslist for $4300.  The main point behind this is that he wants to get the car, but I also need something to get to and from work if/when I get hired.

Current situation: Find what's wrong with my dad's '01 Focus and fix it.  Time is extremely limited right now though assuming somebody hires me over the next couple days.

New possibility: My dad gets the Neon.  I start out paying off the loan at about $100/month.  I get the Neon to use as my car to get to and from work plus whatever else I want to do.  My dad continues using his '12 Versa until he sells it.  By that time, he hopes to have the Focus fixed.  Once the Focus is fixed and he sells his Versa and Mustang, he'll take over the Neon including all the other payments and I'll use the Focus.  That is, of course until I get my own car.

That wheel got awfully close to his face. All while probably going 150ish mph

First coat of wax this year on my car. Damn she's shiny.

Also put Rain-x on all my windows and window guards and it rained the whole drive home the next day. Didn't even use the wipers once. :D

Nice.

Also, been out driving all day and still am. Easter + no work + sunny + 80 degrees after a cold spell = lots of good cars cracking out. A new Stingray convertible just drove past me ten minutes ago.

ye

does anyone else here love corvettes

vettes in general are alright but those are so ugly

does anyone else here love corvettes

Umm....uh.....

Well yes.

On my way to my grandma's for Easter I saw Datsun 240z for sale that looked pretty sweet. I didn't a really good look at it but the body looked to be in solid shape. I'm sure it was way outside my price range and if it wasn't, I don't have the money to do all the repairs needed. But I would love just about any mid 60's early 70's Datsun. I would really like a Datsun 620 at some point in my life
