If you're driving a truck, shift down two gears. That black smoke will blind the friend. >:D
you would actually want to shift up into a gear that will bring the engine to near idle and then floor it.  Only if it's a diesel though.

I tried that just now. Not much of a difference.

Mustang for life boys. c:

Tap the brakes. This happened to me the other day, I was out driving for the first time by myself and a Ranger wouldn't get off my tail

Does this actually work for people? If I'm tailgating, I'm going to have my foot poised over the brake so that the moment their brake lights go on, my foot goes down. I can maintain a distance of 3 feet from the car in front of me at all times through any scenario if needed.

Regardless, it's almost never an issue because very rarely am I on a one lane road where I can't just pass in another lane.

For some reason, my car smells like a skunk being cremated after running for a while. Seriously, it smells like a skunk mixed with smell of something burning (not quite like rubber burning though).

look under your hood and see if a cat/squirrel crawled in there, it happens a lot

Ew

I actually did pop the hood when I first smelled it after coming out of Dollar General. Nothing seemed abnormal, but it did seem to take longer than usual to get the car to idle and when it did, it idled very low (~500-600rpm contrasted to usual 900-1100). I never saw smoke or anything that could be burning. When I got home, I left the car running while I walked around sniffing it. I was smelling it more prominently near the right rear tire (one of my problem tires) but the exhaust also comes out over there so it could've been that too.

my dad recently bought a 1970 mercedes 280S in parts car condition, we got it to start by bypassing the fuel tank, but its not worth trying to sell whole so were parting it out, it has a Cassette player, cruise control, an electric sunroof, and leather seats IN 1970

I'd probably wanna get that if it were pretty cheap. I bet it'd be hard to find parts though. I bet it's also hard to sell the parts too.
