eyes go straight to the rust

Wow that looks so much better. Good job!

I'm not the biggest fan of old cars that aren't muscle cars, but I would definitely drive that

i love old Camrys and corollas. toyota is really the only non domestic car i like

Just curious. What do you guys typically consider "high miles" on a car? When I say this I am excluding most diesels. Let's just say the average street car newer than around 1990. Don't think about a specific brand.

Just think if you were to buy the cheapest car you could find with low miles, how low would you try to go?

I'd aim for just under 100k, unless it was a specific car that is on my simple-car dream list. Then I may go a little higher if other options were not available

my car has 100,000 and it's from 2008 so I'm not very picky
but it's a toyota
I don't know if I'd go that high with anything other than a toyota

i might paint that white sometime too, its nice to have a white car, easier to find paint

if its not 200+ i dont think its high mileage. I don't really worry abuot mileage because things that break can be fixed.

this statement alone dismisses your credibility about automotive things

sand it down and try to get to the base of it before you paint it, otherwise you are pissing in the wind

I didn't even know I had any to begin with

100,000 is actually average.  Just about anything that is maintained on a semi regular basis will easily do 100,000.

but that doesn't mean I WANT it

but that doesn't mean I WANT it
lol most cars run fine past like 250k

not wanting it simply because it has 100k on it is an irrational fear.
