recently fell in love with the eclipse, specifically the 2g(so long as the awkward high wing isn't on it) and 4g

this is a fact

My coworker has spent a lot of money on his Prelude. It's actually a pretty awesome car even though I never really cared for Preludes. Ripped this off his facebook page.

Guys, I just landed a real stuffty 1991 Camry wagon from 10 miles from my house!, I saw it at the local pick'n pull last month and it was an employee's car, the employee was away at the time so I just kind of abandoned the thought. Last week though the same camry came up on craigslist for 400$ and it runs but it's got a blown brake line which must have recently happened. I email the guy and ask him how 200$ sounds (since scrap is so low right now and that was his eventual plan). He says 300 so today I said we should meet, I pulled up in my camry and he was in awe of how nice of shape it was in compared to his.
Anyway my dad was there too to help negotiate and he said 250, he wouldn't budge from 275 except for a coin flip and we won, a car for 250 USD, it had almost no brakes but my dad is an experienced driver as ive said and by God's grace and lucky traffic lights we made the drive home safe

Its got a 2.8L V6 :D

and auto trans:

anyway, going to take a ton of parts from it and then turn it into a frozen lake racing missile, I see a fun winter in my future, ill take pics tomorrow its already dark at 6pm here :C

Oh I don't think I posted this here, but I'm taking my car to a private mechanic tomorrow who offered to investigate my bad idle for absolutely no charge. He's likely not gonna fix anything, but just having him look for and diagnose the problem would be simply amazing, and if he doesn't find the problem, it won't hurt me.

I first went south to the same dealership where I applied for a porter job and talked to a guy in the service garage for like 15 minutes. Although they do things such as maintenance and little repairs on other cars besides Ford and Chrysler group cars, he was getting more and more doubtful that he'd be able to locate the source of the problem since I have a GM car. At that point, he said I should try the Chevrolet dealer that's about 10 miles away near the Mississippi River, but then he remembered that he had a friend who lived off the road that I'd just come from who was very good at engine and powertrain issues and recommended him.

When I got there, I found a perfectly beautiful Buick Grand National in the garage with the hood popped, so I walked around looking at it. When the guy got rid of the annoying customers who kept whining about their Cadillac, he came and looked at my car and I told him my whole sob story about the guys who looked at my car, didn't find the problem, and charged me $150. I guess he was sympathetic about it, because he told me to drop by anytime this week and leave the car with him for several hours and he'd take a look at it and try to find the problem for no charge.

Me very happy.

THIS LIST IS TOO TINY
