I don't usually tell her, but I also don't usually leave the county either.
is that really a big deal? it takes me like 15 minutes max to be in a different county, and I think I have a pretty average size county, at least for southeastern states

Well, I do live right on the western county line, so that isn't a big deal at all, but there's nothing interesting out that way but thick populations of meth cooking rednecks and a few lowly gas stations, bars, and little convenience stores dotted along the highway before the next substantial town about 15 miles away.

I crossed over the southern county line today into a county that I haven't been in once since 2011. Once again, all that I found was sparse rednecks and trailer homes. Speeding tickets were doubled, I found a state park, a gas station in the middle of nowhere, and a lot of trees. The next town was about 30 miles further so I decided not to go too far and turned around.

Ugh insurance is going to be insane for the 370z. im going with full cover because i dont want to be forgeted if my car ever gets keyed or if i forget up while driving.
275 euro per month, that's pretty crappy gotta admit, easily do-able, but i wish it wasnt law to insure your car.

I live in Michigan and pay ~110£ per month for the bare minimum on a '90s Taurus. Full coverage would put me well above 275£ lmao

its hell because i just dont trust my neighborhood to not forget with my car. ive seen enough people getting their car keyed by people for no reason at all.
i also really dont dare to risk loving up my car as a relatively new driver

but i wish it wasnt law to insure your car.
And then you forget up, hit someone, get them handicapped and have to pay a crapton of money for the rest of their lives.

I pay €60/month for the bare minimum insurance, I don't think full coverage is worth it on a 2001 €2500 lolvo s40.

i meant it more as in id have to pay insurance even if it's parked for longer term. so if i ever lose my job and cant pay for my insurance, ill be in trouble despite it being not even being driven.

I pay $61/month on my car, which as you guys know if somewhat less than reliable.

you'd think it'd be higher because of getting in an accident risk

I guess there isn't much they have to replace though

Depends on where you live, here in the Netherlands you can pause your insurance if you're not going to drive it all winter or for a long period of time.

Lots of people do it for motorcycles in the winter.

Je moet dan gewoon je kenteken tijdelijk laten schorsen bij de RDW, dan hoef je ook geen wegenbelasting te betalen.
